Merrwin Eldon Vallier Jr

Eldon was born January 3, 1948, in Council Bluffs to the late Merrwin and Thelma Jean (Peters) Vallier. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln high school in 1966. He entered the army and was honorably discharged in 1972. Eldon married Diana Lee Bonge on June 6, 1970 in Papillon, Nebraska. They were blessed with two children, Kelly Lee and Jamie Jean.

Eldon was a semi truck driver since the 1980s and only retired because of his illness. Eldon also worked as a diesel mechanic, and for Union Pacific Railroad.

In addition to his parents Eldon was preceded in death by his nephew Christopher Charles Siefken and Sister-in-law Debbie Marie Daly.

Eldon is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diana Lee Vallier, of Omaha; Son Kelly of Council Bluffs Iowa; Daughter Jamie Vallier, Grandchildren Kaitlin D. , Alexander C. , and Mackenzie E. Vallier of Omaha. Mother-in-law Betty L. Bonge of Papillon. Sister Linda K.(David O.) Siefken, of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Brothers in law Jeffery J. (Rita) ; James B. (Debbie) Bonge; and John Daly Sr.. Sisters-in-law Renee A.Bonge, of Springfield, Nebraska and Kimberly M. (Ron) Hernandez of Papillon, Nebraska. Uncles, nieces, nephews, dear friends, godchildren, and his cats.
