Richard Lee Green Sr

In loving memory of Richard L Green Sr, better known to his family as "Bay Brah," was born to the late Marcellus Green Sr and Hazel L Cole-Green on April 10, 1947 in Omaha, NE. He departed on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 2:01 am at the age of 72.

He is preceded in death by his significant other, Linda Sue; parents, Marcellus Green Sr and Hazel L Cole-Green; brothers, Mark Lee Green and David Roger Green; and son, Richard Green Jr.

Richard leaves behind to mourn his passing his loving children, Kenny (Lisa) Smith Green, Richetta Smith Green,and Trinette (Paul) Corbin Green; siblings, Marcellus Green Jr, Carolyn Green Jemison, Elizabeth (Paul) Green Tucker, Marsha Lee Davis; dear friends, Tony, Leroy and BJ; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members.

Richard was a father like no other. He provided a life of joy and harmony. Richard was a very humble, good-natured and kind-hearted person. He had a wonderful spirit and a beautiful heart. Richard loved sports and competition. He received many awards in sports, such as baseball, basketball, track and wrestling.

Richard pursued his life with enlightening people with faith. He cherished his ministry and passed his love to his children. He would help anyone he found in need throughout his life, especially his family. He loved the Lord, his family and the body of Christ with his life. Richard took pleasure in passing his love to his 13 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
