Alex Foster Jr., affectionately known as "Monte," passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy Baker Sr. and Denise Baker; great-grandparents Fredrick and Illa Cooper; and Pat Foster.
Monte attended Northwest High School and Benson High School. Over the years, he worked various jobs and made connections with many along the way. He never married or had children, but he deeply adored his nieces, Kamarra and Iviona, who held a special place in his heart.
Monte was someone who mostly kept to himself, but when you were fortunate enough to be in his presence, his love was always felt. He made it a point to never part ways without saying, "I love you" or "much love," words that will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
He was a true and devoted Raiders fan. Anyone who knew Monte knew you would never see him without some kind of Raiders gear on. He loved football and everything about it, and that passion was a big part of who he was.
Monte leaves to cherish his memory his loving family: his mother, Michelle Baker (Tony May); his father, Alex Foster Sr.; his siblings, Jeremy Foster, Latoya McDonald, and Karon; his uncles, Leroy Baker Jr., Brian Baker (NaKisha), and Andre Baker; and his cherished nieces, Ivy Foster and Kamarra Howard-Foster. He also leaves behind a host of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will continue to honor his life and legacy.
Monte will be remembered for the love he shared, the memories he created, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
