Alfred "Freddy" Jefferson Bradley Sr. , 80, of Rising City Nebraska passed away on November 14, 2025. He was born July 17, 1945 in Lincoln Nebraska to Alfred Jefferson Bradley and Stella Faye Downing Bradley. Freddy was a dad to Alfred Bradley Jr., Donna Jagger, Loreta Thompson, Catherine Collier, Karie Ferguson, and Russ Ferguson.

Dad was hard-working and dedicated. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator most of his life. He didn't like being away from home for long periods of time but he very much enjoyed traveling and working outdoors.

Dad was a generous man who would do anything he could to help anyone in need. It gave him much joy to be able to invite you in for a meal, shelter, a place to sleep for the night, give rides when needed, or help fix a vehicle. He was a man of integrity, kindness and generosity. He left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Dad enjoyed spending time with family and friends, music ... oh how he loved music of all kinds. He very much enjoyed listening to music while sitting outside enjoying the weather, including a bonfire whenever possible and of course chatting with anyone who was near. His favorite artist Elvis Presley once said, 'Without a song a day ain't got no end, without a song a man ain't got no friend.' Dad lived by that holding music near him and encouraging everyone to enjoy it with him to bring all people around him closer together. Throughout his life and now even past his death we can remember him through the music he listened to, the things he enjoyed and every-time we step with rhythm and dance with joy we will know that he is right there with us in heart and soul.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Stella. Siblings; Patricia Ann Spradley, Ruth Hope Lopez, and Rose Ann Forbes. Second wife Kathy Ferguson Bradley. Children; Alfred Bradley Jr and Donna Jagger.

He is survived by his siblings; Stella Faye Orosco, Mary Lynn Harding, and John Bradley. First wife Dona Padgett Bradley. Kids; Loreta Thompson, Catherine Collier, Karie and Russ Ferguson. Grandchildren; Zack Bradley, David Jagger, Michael, Natasha and Martin Thompson, Daniel, Makayla, and Savannah Collier, Angel Ramsey, Keegan Danehey, Brandon, Elena, Carson, and Brodie Ferguson. Great Grandchildren; Payton, Tristan, Kyra, Daniel, Destiny, Jack, and Octavia Collier. Micheal, Elizabeth, William, Jakob, and Hailey Ramsey. Alanna Thompson and Aymee Bartlette. As well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

We find comfort knowing that those who loved and knew Dad will carry his legacy as we move forward with kindness, love, and compassion at every step in life. May we all cherish our memories and time with him through the goodness we bring into this world. Remembering everyday is about TCB "Taking Care of Business"

Dad never wanted a sad funeral service so instead we will be having a party to celebrate his life after the first of the year in 2026. Details will be shared at a later time.
