Alfred Melvin Graves

Alfred Graves, age 79, passed away in Bellevue, Nebraska, on May 8, 2023. He was born November 15, 1943 to Laverne and Francis (Wegleitner) Graves in Long Prairie, MN.

Alfred lived in Bellevue, Nebraska for the majority of his life. His pride and joy was his horse, Diamond. He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. Alfred was also an entrepreneur who created a successful business venture with his wife called Graves Janitorial that lasted decades.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Sacramento Graves; children, Robert of Omaha, Susan of Bellevue, Cindy (Mark) of Lake Elsinore, California, and William of Denver, Colorado; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, siblings, Lloyd (Jean) of Long Prairie Minnesota, Vern (Barb) of Long Prairie Minnesota, Gloria (Gary) of Hastings Minnesota, Mary (Steve) Schilling of Dousman Wisconsin.

Alfred's Celebration of life will be held from 4:00pm - 8:00pm on June 17th. Please contact family members for further information.
