Alta Edna Dort

Alta Edna Dort, 83, of Omaha, NE passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Society on July 14, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Bethany Lutheran Church followed by a private family burial.

Alta was born on February 10, 1940, in Clinton, Iowa to the late Joseph and Leona (Williams) Barsema. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymon Culver and Robert Dort, daughter Janie Crawford, and sisters Charlotte, Irene, and Nancy.

Survivors include: her daughter Linda (Barry) Benner, son-in-law Troy Crawford, son-in-law Steven (Katie) Dose. She is also survived by her sister Helen Parks of Camanche, Iowa, grandchildren Tracy (Nick) Kay, Trina Thompson, Taylor (Rory) Bork, Spencer (Lacey) Culver, Matthew Crawford, Dustin Crawford, 5 great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
