Angela Marie Wennekamp

Angela Marie Wennekamp passed away on May 28, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 45. She was born on September 4, 1980, in Ord, Nebraska.

She graduated from Skutt Catholic High School and from Wayne State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies. Angela married Dave Wennekamp on September 14, 2002, in Pender, Nebraska. They lived primarily in Omaha, where their two beloved sons were born.

Angela found her heart's fulfillment in helping and serving others. She ran multiple successful businesses, first operating a daycare out of her home for many years and then founding two thriving food trucks with her family. However, she was most proud of being a cherished mother to her two sons.

She loved to travel throughout her life, and recent vacations with her family created many lasting, happy memories. She enjoyed gathering and meeting new people, and she could make an instant friend out of anyone in the room. She loved animals, and her pets always gravitated to her side. Angie was a light for everyone who had the joy of meeting her. Her radiant smile will be missed, but our memories of her warmth and care will never fade.

Angela is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Wennekamp; her mother, Mary Reid; her grandparents, Allan and Loretta Kresha and D. Gregory and Bertha Jean Reid; and beloved pets.

She is survived by her children, David Wennekamp and Dalton Wennekamp; her father, Douglas Reid; her sister, Abby Reid; cherished nephews, nieces, and extended in-laws; and other treasured family, friends, and pets.
