Arnette Payne

Minister Arnette Payne was born July 22, 1951 to Pastor Pecola and Richard Payne. Minister Arnette was born in East St. Louis Illinois. Later on, the family moved to Omaha, Nebraska.
Minister Arnette attended Technical High School after moving to Omaha, Nebraska.
After graduating from Tech High she attended Creighton University and graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She worked in the Reinert Alumni Library from January 1975 to July 2017. She worked at Creighton Bookstore from August 2017 to March 2023.
Minister Payne was preceded in death by her parents Pastor Pecola and Richard Payne and her brother Ramie Dee Payne.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her two sisters, Marilyn Prince of Omaha NE and Ruthie Applewhite of East St. Louis, IL as well a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends
