Ashley Layne (Murphy) Reyes

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Ashley Layne Reyes, who left this world too soon at the age of 40.

Ashley was a bright light in every room she entered- she had a wonderful sense of humor, her kindness boundless, and her spirit unshakeable. She had a gift for making others feel seen and valued, whether through her warm smile, her thoughtful words, or her unwavering support.

A graduate of Bellevue East High School. She went on to have a career in customer service. Anyone who witnessed her at her job would say she was so knowledgeable and caring. She received raving reviews from her managers, co- workers and customers. She dreamed of making a difference in the world, and in her short time here, she did just that – touch countless lives.

She loved spending every minute with her four children. A devoted and caring mother to her children and husband Eduardo Reyes. When she was younger, she enjoyed pheasant and mushroom hunting and camping with her dad. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, playing card games, and cherished family traditions.

She is survived by her parents, Nancy Epp and Daryl Murphy; her children Angel Araujo, Jr, Anthony Araujo, Ana Sofia Araujo, and Arianna Reyes; as well as many aunts and uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
