In Loving Memory of Barbara, Barb, Bobbi, Mom, Grandma.

Some people leave their mark on the world with grand gestures. Others leave it through quiet love, steady kindness, and a life spent putting everyone else first. Barb was one of those people.

She was happiest with a fishing pole in her hands, spending summers on Battle Lake in Minnesota, where countless memories were made. She had a tomboy spirit, loving the outdoors, and finding happiness in life's simple pleasures. She treasured traveling abroad with her daughter: playing bananagram and card games creating memories together that they would carry forever.

She couldn't help but smile anytime Elvis Presley was playing or the familiar sound of old-school country music filled the room,

At home, she enjoyed crocheting, getting lost in James Patterson novels, working word-find puzzles, and creating beautiful coloring pages that reflected her creativity and gentle spirit.

Family wasn't always defined by blood. If you knew her, you called her Grandma-and she loved you just the same.

Though her chair may now sit empty and her fishing pole be still, the lessons she taught through kindness, selflessness, and love will live on in everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She leaves behind a family who will miss her deeply, cherish her always, and find comfort knowing her love will remain with them forever.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Robert (Margaret) Mitchell; children Suzie Wilcoxin and Christine Skiles; and her beloved dog, Muppy.

She is survived by her children Cindy Lynch, Kelly Skiles, and Mike (Natasha) Skiles; grandchildren Shauna (Greg), Heather (Dakota), Sammy (Juan), Nick, Jenna, Sierra (Tristan), Aiden, Bailey, Tommy, Terry, Tony, and Tiffany; great-grandchildren Devon (Emeli), William, Jaycob, Addyson, Hendrix, and Lena; and great-great-grandchildren Julian, Camila, Jordani, and Adrian.
