Beatrice Like

Beatrice Like (Sheppard) was born May 20, 1952, to the parents of Beatrice & Eugene Sheppard. Depending on who she was talking to, she preferred too be called Bea, Sister, Aunt Bea or Nana. She attended Howard Kennedy Elementary & went on to graduate from North High School. She became a Caregiver/Medication Aide and enjoyed lengthy career at Qualex, where she developed pictures. Bea personally owned thhe best photo catalog of the family.
Bea enjoyed cooking, traveling, going to the casino, shopping at Sam's and attending all family and friends events & parties, especially with her dearest friend Virginia. Her baby girl Lynn was a prize and she cared for all of her grandchildren. Bea had the type of character where she would give the clothes off her back and her refrgerator was always open to your stomach (she was a great cook and you could always have a good time at her home.)
In 2007 & 2015 her health took a turn; nevertheless, she remained a strong, accountable & consistent woman. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends who very much loved and cared for her.
Bea leaves behind her Three children (Audrey Kay, Lynn Mari & James Anthony "Tony"); Grandchildren ( Courtney, Lamar, Marcus, Malcolm, Javon and Devin); Great-Grandson (Tre-vion); Sister, Myla; Five Brothers; Numerous Cousins; Nieces (Ulyssea "Royality", Keturah, Christian, Chinyere, Josie and Mia); along with a host of family and friends she made during her lifetime.
