Bernice Devers

Bernice Devers aka "Halle Berry" was born and raised in Winchester, Arkansas. She moved to Omaha in 1955, attended the Omaha Public School, and later in life confessed her love for God and joined the Salem Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father; Rosa Lee Devers-Nugget and Joseph Devers. Sisters: Mary Lee, Essie Finley, Florida Devers, Sarah Coleman, and Solestine Devers. Brothers: Hezekiah Devers, Jeremiah Devers, and Howard Devers. Two (2) Grandsons: Shelton Milton and KenVaughn Glass.

Bernice is survived by: Sisters: Emma Devers and Mae Montgomery. Brother: Moses Devers. Children: JoAnna Devers, Jermaine Devers, Jemice Devers, (Detroit, MI), JeVaughn Erwin (Beth), (Dallas, TX); and Jason Devers, (Lincoln, NE). Sixteen Grandchildren and five (5) Great Grandchildren; and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
