Beverly Sue Batenhorst

Beverly Sue Batenhorst passed away August 1, 2026 in Ralston, Nebraska at the age of 66 years. She was born May 21, 1960 in West Point, Nebraska.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Dorothy Greckel; daughter Julie Brown; and brothers Gary Greckel, Dan Greckel, Mel Greckel, and Ron Greckel.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mark Bruno Batenhorst; daughter Gina Batenhorst; son in law Jay Brown; grandchildren Caleb (Gracie) Brown, Jaxon (Rosie) Brown, Izaiah (Ajeya) Batenhorst, Trazell (Aliyah) Browder, Tommy McCawley, and Rozelynn Batenhorst; great-granddaughter Soleia; sister Donna (Layne) Landanger; and nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Her spirited sense of humor, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends will forever be remembered.

She found great joy in music and in bringing people together around the table. An incredible cook, she expressed her love through every meal she prepared, always making sure her family was well-fed and surrounded by warmth.

Though our hearts are filled with sadness, we find comfort in believing she has been reunited in Heaven with those who went before her. Her love, laughter, and the memories she created will live on in all who knew and loved her.

Fly free, Beverly. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
