Carl Griffin

Carl Gene Griffin was born on August 22, 1968 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Carolyn Griffin. Carl and his family moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1972.

Carl attended Bryan High School where he received his high school diploma and later adventured off to serve some time in the military. 

From a young age Carl loved his cars, in specific he loved Cadillacs. Once he got old enough to purchase his own car he made sure to keep him a Cadillac. He also loved his shoes and jewelry. He was one fly guy. Carl had a personality out of this world. He was sure to make a room laugh with his jokes. He was a stand up guy and didn’t play about his family. If he can help anyway possible just know he’s there, you can count on him.

Carl later in life found love and married the love of his life Dinisha Riggins on July 24, 2017. 

Carl was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Fortenberry; step-father Claude Fortenberry; and nephew Walter Griffin. 

He leaves behind to cherish his life to his wife Dinisha Riggins; daughters Tylisha (Travis), Kyara, Talequa (Sharon), Dai-shonna, Denija, and Mariah; sons Ka’Quan, Devonte, Lil Carl, JaQuan, Karlandis, Karlon; great grandmother Mattie Jones; siblings Laura Griffin and Marquetta Kelly; 25 grandchildren; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; 2 special friends Roper Franklin and Michael Brown; and a host of aunties, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
