Carlos Hilario

Carlos Matthew Hilario passed away July 16, 2025 at the age of 54 years. He was born May 5, 1971 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Carlos is preceded in death by his parents, Ruperto and Helen Hilario.

He is survived by his children Matthew (Stephanie) Hilario and Meghan Hilario; grandchildren Braylen, Elijah, Chase, Emma, and Rayshawn Jr; brothers Ruperto, Arturo, and Anthony; sisters Amelia, Josefa, Cecilia, and Adele; and nieces, nephews, other family, and his loving dog, Chula.

Carlos was a man who lived life with quiet strength and deep appreciation for the simple joys-riding his bike under open skies, exploring the outdoors, traveling to new places, and spending time with his loyal dog, Chula. Carlos loved sparking up the grill, putting on some good music and cracking open a cold beer with loved ones. His love for nature's beautiful scenery was matched only by the love he had for his family.

He was a proud grandfather of five, a title he cherished deeply. Whether it was sharing stories or going on walks, he brought warmth, wisdom, and laughter into their lives.

Carlos will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love of adventure, and the steady way he showed up for the people he loved. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will remain a lasting comfort for us all.
