Carol Failla

Carol Kay Failla passed away November 5, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 82 years. She was born April 27, 1943 in Madison, Nebraska.

Carol is now reunited in eternal peace with her son, Jimmy Failla; daughter, Roni Camper; and grandsons, Anthony Lewis and Jermaine Lewis, whom she loved deeply and missed every day.

She is survived by spouse, David Otero; her children, Gina Maldonado (Andres), Randal Springer, and Tony Failla (Karin); along with nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

"Carol carried our memories with her whole heart."

She loved her family fiercely- through every challenge and season of life. Even when she carried her own hurt, she still gave love the best way she knew. Our mom, our grandmother, our friend, never stopped trying.

Carol believed in the comfort of angels, that faith carried her through both joy and sorrow- and now it carries her home. On the morning of her passing, a meditation from The Four Seasons, for November 5th spoke, "Be still and know." In that moment, God gave her peace.

She will forever be remembered for her strength, her humor, her spirit, and her love.

She is now our angel- and her memory will live on in every heart she has touched.
