Carolyn Gonzales

Carolyn Marie (Hodgkinson) Gonzales, 69, of Omaha Nebraska, Passed peacefully on October 2nd, 2025 with her youngest daughter and oldest granddaughter by her side.

Born on December 30th, 1955 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Phyllis (Parrish) Reiser and Roy Hodgkinson.

Carolyn lived her life in comfort after battling and beating breast cancer in 2008. She enjoyed caring for and playing dolls with her Great grandchildren. She also enjoyed relaxing at home watching animal planet, and anything in the color of pink.

She is preceded in death by her parents Phyllis and Roy, and Sister Roselyn Cappello.

She is Survived by her Brother, Gerald (Rachel) Hodgkinson, 2 daughters, Tania (Andrew) Fuller and Phyllicia Gonzales; 3 Grandchildren, Kalisto (Jacob) Cordes, Jessica and Aaron Fuller; 4 Great Grandchildren, Harleen (Quinny), Denalie (Nani), Sage (Bubby) & Elva (Ellie Belly/Turtle); And bonus Granddaughters Haley & Valery Richardson, who she accepted into her family with open arms.

Her family would like to thank the staff at UNMC and Douglas county health center for making her last few months comfortable and easy. As well as an honorable mention to Chloe Mcintosh for making her last 2 days pain free and consoling the family in their time of grief.

In lieu of flowers, We would like to ask family and friends to donate to their go fund me "Carolyn Hodgkinson-Gonzales Funeral" All proceeds are to pay for cremation, Urn and Funeral expenses.
