With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cesar Pedro Torres Carbajal, who passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Cesar was born in Nayarit, Mexico, to Pedro Torres and Isaura Carbajal, who preceded him in death. He was one of many brothers and sisters and treasured the close bond he shared with his family throughout his life.

He made his home in Omaha, Nebraska, where he became known as a hardworking, kind, and generous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether family, friends, or strangers, Cesar never hesitated to help someone in need. He had a remarkable sense of humor and a gift for making people laugh, even on their hardest days.

Above all else, Cesar's greatest pride and joy were his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Alejandra Mejia; his beloved daughters, Nayeli Rangel and her husband, Diego Rangel, and Litzy Torres and her husband, Jordan Hamilton.

He was a devoted and loving grandfather to Aleena, Ellie, Valeria, Sebastian, and Max Rangel. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with them. They will forever cherish the love, laughter, and memories he gave them.

Cesar's love, generosity, unwavering work ethic, and joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on through the family he loved so dearly and the countless lives he impacted with his kindness.

His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.Services will he held on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home - 90th Chapel. Visitation from 4:00 - 5:00 PM with Funeral Service at 5:00 PM.

Cesar will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

César nació en Nayarit, México, hijo de Pedro Torres e Isaura Carbajal, quienes le precedieron en la muerte. Fue uno de muchos hermanos y hermanas, y siempre valoró el fuerte vínculo que compartió con su familia a lo largo de su vida.

Hizo de Omaha, Nebraska, su hogar, donde fue conocido por ser un hombre trabajador, amable y generoso, siempre dispuesto a tender la mano a quien lo necesitara. Ya fuera un familiar, un amigo o un desconocido, César nunca dudaba en ayudar. Tenía un gran sentido del humor y un don especial para hacer reír a los demás, incluso en los momentos más difíciles.

Servicios Funerarios

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el lunes en Good Shepherd Funeral Home, ubicado en 3809 N. 90th Street, Omaha, Nebraska.

El velorio será de 4:00 p.m. a 5:00 p.m., seguido de la ceremonia fúnebre a las 5:00 p.m.
