Cheryl Emert

It is with deep love and gratitude that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Cheryl “Sue” Diane Emert, who peacefully left this life on September 1st, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born on February 20, 1951 born in Omaha, NE, to Archie and Phyllis Lheureaux. Sue lived a beautiful and fulfilling life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a spirit of generosity that touched everyone who knew her.

Known for her warmth and compassion, she always gave from the heart—whether it was offering wisdom to her children and grandchildren, caring for loved ones in times of need, or simply sharing a moment of joy.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, husband James Lunnin and daughter Michelle Emert.

She is survived by her son Allen, Joe Emert father of Allen and Michelle, grandchildren Rachel (Nate), Hollie (Nichole), Elijah, Neil and Great grandchildren Alyvia, Londyn, Kingsley and Laiken and a host of family and friends.

Sue had a gift for making those around her feel seen, valued, and loved.

She will be remembered for the countless lives she influenced with her love, strength, and unwavering dedication to ALL.

She will be deeply missed
