Christian Larsen

Chris passed away peacefully on December 18 2024 in Ashland, NE. 

He was born in Grow, WI on February 9, 1932. He grew up in Minnesota and Oregon. Graduated from Salem High School. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean war. He was also an Air Force Veteran. He was married to Thelma Larsen for 62 years. They spent most of their time in Colorado Springs, CO where he worked for Hewlett Packard as an Electronics Technician. After retiring he and Thelma got interested in antiques. They enjoyed buying and selling what they found and made many friends that way. Chris enjoyed gardening and fishing and reading old westerns. 

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Ruth Larsen, brothers James, Howard, George, and sister Shirley Loveland. He is survived by his wife Thelma, Daughter Teresa Blake (Rusty) and Son Patrick Larsen (Vanda), two grandchildren and four great grandchildren and his younger brother Dave Larsen. 

The family would like to thank the nurses of St. Croix Hospice of Omaha, Oxbow Assisted Living and Newport House for the care he received in his final months.
