Christopher George Fife

Christopher "Chris" George Fife, age 50, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2026.

Chris was born in Omaha on April 5, 1976, to Patricia Marie Fife. A talented and hardworking man, he built a career doing what he loved. He was a master technician and most recently shared his expertise as a Service Advisor. Chris had a deep passion for anything that went fast, especially riding motorcycles and four-wheelers. He brought that same high-energy joy to his family, regularly taking his children, Hunter and Isaiah, to ride rollercoasters. He would gladly ride them over and over again, completely matching their excitement.

Chris absolutely loved music. He was known to sing and dance with complete freedom, acting as though no one was watching. Above all else, he loved being a daddy. Isaiah and Hunter truly had their dad wrapped around their fingers. Chris was widely known for his incredible sense of humor and his genuine love for making people laugh.

Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Alissa Fife (Miller); his children, Jaylin Herskind, Isaiah Fife, and Hunter Fife; his brother, John Pruett and his wife Cassie; and his granddaughters, Vayda and Zoey. He is also survived by his grandmother, Jeannie Fife, as well as numerous aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Fife.

Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Fife, Jeremy Miller, Jon Daubman, John Pruett, and Adam Skupa.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home (90th and Maple St, Omaha, NE). Following the service, a small gathering to share more memories and celebrate Chris's life will begin at 1:00 PM at the American Legion in Millard.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to help support the ongoing needs of his children.
