Clarence William Meier

Clarence William Meier, 87 of Bellevue Ne, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at his home.

He was born March 20, 1939 in Onida, South Dakota to Henry and Ida Meier.

From 1958 to 1966, Clarence served his country with pride in the U.S. Army National Guard. His working years were filled with diverse experiences-herding cattle on open land, driving trucks across long stretches of road, fixing pipes, maintaining buildings, and running heavy equipment to shape the ground for new construction. He had a true passion for genealogy and spent countless hours uncovering the stories of his ancestors. Clarence also loved the simple pleasures of life: casting a line to fish, dancing whenever he had the chance, and even sewing, a hobby that showed his patient and creative spirit.

He is survived by his children, Paul (Marsha) Meier, Timothy Meier, Naomi (John) Duncan, Nathan (Shalomi) Meier, and Andrew Meier; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Louise Kerley; and nieces, nephews, and other family.

Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ida Meier; brother Albert Meier; sister-in-law Norma Meier.
