Claudia Irene Rollins

Claudia Irene Pont Rollins was born in Atlantic, Iowa on March 22nd , 1932. Her family moved to Oakland, Iowa in 1934 whereshe graduated from Oakland High School in 1949.

Claudia attended Commercial Extension School of Commerce in Omaha where she studied Comptometer, taking her first job at Sherwin Williams Paint Store in downtown Omaha in the Fall of 1949. She returned to Oakland to work for Citizen's State Bank. She was married in 1950, and welcomed four children.

Claudia worked as a legal secretary at the Farm Credit Banks in downtown Omaha and retired from Northwestern Bell in 1993.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Mary Pont, a brother, Phillip Lee Pont, and great-granddaughter Maehgan. She is survived by four children: Jan Rollins, Jon Rollins, Lynne Winkle and Stacy Rollins, all of Omaha, son-in-law Alan Winkle, and daughter-in-law Marlene Rollins; eight grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, August 29th at 1pm at Good Shepherd Funeral Home at 4712 S 82nd St, Omaha NE 68127.
