Constance Ann Turner of Omaha, NE passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, guidance, and faith. Born on December 12, 1953 in Council Bluffs, IA, Constance a force of nature, dedicating her life to lifting up others through her diverse talents and boundless energy.
From a young age, Constance was drawn to the stage. She was a fixture in the Theater Department at Graceland College and for over 20 years, she starred in numerous theatrical productions at the Orpheum, Omaha Community Playhouse, and John Beasley Theater/LaFern Center.
Constance developed and shared her sharp insurance acumen at Mutual of Omaha and Central States Insurance for over 40 years. Her guidance extended beyond policies and indemnity marketing, by often inspiring her youth mentees with her self regard and spirit.
Her greatest calling, however, was her ministry. An ordained minister dedicating here talents and services to Mt. Zion Church (Refugee Center), New Hope Apostolic Temple, Emmanuel Fellowship, and Life Care Center of Omaha. Constance spent decades offering spiritual counsel and comfort through Women's Ministry and music. Her sermons were known for their messages of hope and redemption, and she was a compassionate listening ear for anyone in need. Her faith was not just a part of her life; it was the foundation upon which she built her many legacies.
Yet for all her public achievements, Constance was most proud of her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her daughter, Jade; grandchildren, Jalen, Javier, Joanquin, Julian, and her bonus grandson Judah; great-grandchild Jalen Jr. She was a constant source of encouragement, laughter, and unconditional love, and her stories and advice will be treasured for generations.
Constance was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dallas Jean Turner-Victor and musical father Leland 'Bussy' Williams, sibling Debbie Starks (husband: Rufus; children: Robert, Alicia, Eric, Matthew, Brittany). She is survived by her daughter, Jade Turner-Harrell, her grandchildren, Jalen Murphy (Erica), Javier Turner, Joanquin Turner, Julian Turner-Wright, bonus grandson Judah Harrell.
Siblings Michelle McFalls (husband: Edward, children: Kelly and Angela), LuAnn Sisk (husband; Clifton, children: Bria (d), LaChari and Lea), Gary Marks (children: Tyrico and Kisha), and a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
