Dana Jenkins

Dana Lamar Jenkins, age 44, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024. Dana was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 13, 1980 to Ricky Bolton and Belinda Jenkins, he was the middle child of three children. 

Dana accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, he attended church with his grandmother. 

Dana attended Benson High School where he graduated in 1998. He started his work history in the fast food industry where he became a manager at KFC for many years. He then went to work at Russell Speeders until his timely death. 

Dana's passions were cooking, grilling, and baking. He loved baking cakes pies; he is known for his cheesecake-cake and famous banana pudding. Dana was called upon for the backyard grilling and cookouts at his cousin T.’s house. Dana had a love of cars also. 

He is preceded in death by grandfather Sherman Jenkins Jr.; favorite aunt Elvira Howard (El Have Faith); cousin Latasha Jenkins; great-grandparents Isaac and Estella Patterson. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother Belinda Ross of Omaha, NE; sister Antaya (Kevin) Beasley of Omaha, NE; brother Michael Jenkins of Omaha, NE; grandmother Mary Copeland; aunts Cynthia Jenkins-Reed, Ronita Bower of Texas; Candace Howard, Rita Robinson, favorite cousin Tavares Jenkins of Omaha, NE; special friend Gerard Garbo Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
