Born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on March 19, 1962. Died in peace and comfort on May 11, 2026, while in Hospice Care at her home in Omaha, Nebraska. Danette lost her courageous battle to cancer after a 2 year fight. Her remains will be preserved in the columbarium at St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death between the ages of 1 and 2+ years old by the death of her biological parents, Eugene and Beatrice Barnhart. She was adopted by Richard Krueger in 1965. She moved with her new family to Charleston, West Virginia in 1967, to Lakewood, Ohio in 1968 to Omaha, Nebraska in 1975, to Lyons, Kansas in 1976 and back to Omaha, Nebraska in 1979, She is survived by her father Richard Krueger, her son Matthew and her brothers and Eugene, Craig and Scott Barnhart.

Danette was married to Troy Jensen from 1989 to 1992. Married to Rick Davison in 2001, and divorced in 2005.

She graduated from Millard High School in January of 1980, later received her Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business Management from Metropolitan Community College, in Omaha, Nebraska on May 25, 1993.She had a professional career in food sales, management of her privately owned floral shops, and enjoyed participating in gun shows to sell self-defense gear until health issues prevented her from doing so.

Danette was committed to helping her family and friends. She was very caring and assisted all of us whenever her help was needed. She spent a lot of time with Matthew as shown by the many accompanying photos. She was a truly remarkable person, loving and caring to the very end. May she rest in peace with God's blessing.
