Danny Anderson

Danny Lawrence Anderson, III, passed away on August 19, 2024, in La Vista, Nebraska, at the age of 18. Born on October 14, 2005, in Omaha, Nebraska, Danny is preceded in death by his father, Danny L. Anderson, Jr.; grandparents Danny L. Anderon, Sr., Mark and Eleanor Ellenberger; his aunt Sonia Anderson, Melony Anderson.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Anderson; brothers Christopher (Alicia), Connor, and Dillon; half brother Zackary; grandmother Lynn Anderson; aunts and uncles, Celeste Kirkland and Justin Casteel, John Ellenberger and Kay Lyons, Tammie and Felipe Munoz, Michael Anderson, Tony Anderson, and uncle Chris; great-uncles and aunts Wesley and Jodi Walker, Marlene Jordan, and Shirley Helmia; and cousins Sarina, Isabella, Nathanial, and Khaleesi, James, Felipe, Jr., Melina, and a crew of Anderson cousins; and especially his best friend and "Wifey", Emily.

Danny had a deep passion for superheroes, particularly The Flash, and was a skilled UNO player and Fortnite champion. He loved video games, especially with his brothers and friends. Danny aspired to be a chef and had an extensive knowledge of cooking and Iron Chefs. He was enthusiastic about learning and cherished his school opportunities.

Danny's greatest joy came from being with his mother, brothers, and best friend Wifey, Emily. He was a source of laughter, protection, and unconditional love for them. Described by his family as loving, kind, caring, stubborn, iron-willed, and strong, Danny's presence will be deeply missed. He left this world as he entered it, in his mother's arms, and will forever remain in their hearts.

For Danny's funeral service, please wear red and/or yellow, reflecting his love for The Flash, as a tribute to send him off to the heavens.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, from 6-8 pm at Good Shepherd Funeral Home - L Street Chapel. The funeral service will be on Thursday, August 29, at 11 am at the funeral home. Private family interment at Ridgewood Cemetery in Council Bluffs where he will be laid to rest with dad. Memorials may be directed to the family.
