David McIntyre

David Allen McIntyre, 69, of Omaha, NE passed away peacefully September 24, 2025 surrounded by the love of family. He was born May 28, 1956 in Hartford, CT to Clayton Clarence and Lillian Rose McIntyre.

David was a man who truly loved life and lived it to the fullest, more than most people. His greatest joys in life were his family and friends. His love for his family was reflected in his daily phone calls to his brothers. He built his life through his skills in carpentry and made so many of his friends through his craft. If you were close to David, you probably have something in your house he either made you or fixed for you. His impact will continue to surround those who he loved and be a daily reminder in their lives.

David loved cabin life and being on the water. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time around the campfire. He always enjoyed a good meal and couldn't pass up dessert. He had a sense of humor that was unmatched. He could quickly turn a stranger into a friend. His outlook on life was that you don't need to take things too seriously and things will always work out.

David is survived by the love of his life, Kathi McIntyre; his children Jeremiah (Theresa) Mcintyre, Charlotte (Nick) Lefeber, Clayton (Mary) McIntyre, Matthew (Courtney) Callaway, and Kiley (Steve) Sequenzia; grandchildren Lillian, Aubrey, Emmett, Rusteen, Matilda, Lexi, Annalise, Scotlyn, Enzo, and Madeline; and his beloved dog Mabel and cat Macie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Rusteen and Kevin McIntyre. There will be a celebration of life Sunday, September 28th from 1-4 PM at 20910 River Rd North, Crescent, IA 51526.
