Dominica Angela Schermerhorn

Dominica "Monica" A. Schermerhorn (Nigro) passed away May 16, 2023 in Papillion, Nebraska at the age of 66 years. She was born February 20, 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska. Monica graduated class of '75 from Westside.

Monica is preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Mary Nigro (Falcone); brothers Frank, Subby, and Joe Nigro; and sister Marilyn Kearns (Nigro).

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jeff Schermerhorn; daughter Nicole Schermerhorn (Frank Troia) ; nephews, and other family and friends.




Celebration of Life Monday, May 22, from 5-8pm at the One Pacific Place Residences (1365 S 101st St). Memorials may be directed to the family.
