Donald Sage

Donald Alan Sage passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at the age of 74. A beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, Don lived life with a twinkle in his eye and a grin that usually meant he was up to something.

He was a rascal in the best sense of the word. Quick with a joke, ready with a story, and never one to back down from a little harmless mischief. Beneath that playful spirit was a man of deep loyalty and heart. If Don called you a friend, you had someone in your corner for life.

He loved hard, laughed often, and stood by the people he cared about through every up and down. His family and friends will miss his stubborn charm, his generosity, and his ability to make even the ordinary moments memorable.

A celebration of Don’s life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Elkhorn on Saturday, November 15 from 1-4. The family welcomes you to come, share stories, laughter, and a few tall tales in his honor.

Don is preceded in death by his brother Jon(Butch) and sister in law Diane Peters and survived by his children Brandy(Ryan) and Adam, brother Ron (Netty) and many loving nieces, nephews and friends he considered family.
