Dorothy Thompson

Dorothy Marie Thompson passed away peacefully in her home in July 6th, 2025

She was born on March 21st, 1974 to Dennis and Nancy Thompson. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1992. She then married Michael Simbro, and they had 3 children.

Dorothy took pride in her nursing career. She lived to love and care for people. Anyone that knew her knew she was the most generous giver. Dorothy loved poetry and singing. She was a fun-loving and spontaneous person and enjoyed living outside the rules.

Dorothy leaves behind her parents Dennis Thompson and Tim and Nancy Dietl, her children Travis and Sadie Butler, Kadie Simbro, and Michael Simbro, her 6 grandchildren, her siblings, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and her fiancé David Geyer and their four pup pups.
