Douglas Leo Oldham, 72, of Omaha, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, with his family by his side. Born in Wahoo, Nebraska, Douglas was the eldest of three children-a gentle, patient man whose protective spirit and humor shaped the lives of those he loved. A lifelong admirer of football, music, and art, Douglas saw beauty everywhere and shared it freely. His God‑given artistic talent was matched only by his kindness and compassion; he had a gift for making people feel seen, safe, and deeply cared for. Douglas married his high school sweetheart, Cozett Weiche, and together they built a home grounded in love and laughter. They raised three daughters-Carrie Alane, Annie Alane, and Abbie Jayne-who were his greatest joy and proudest legacy. He will be remembered as a devoted father, a loving brother and friend, and a gentle soul whose presence brought comfort and light.
