January 26, 1961, marked the birth of Dwayne Alard Caldwell, a beloved son, brother, and uncle. He was the beloved son of Tad and Georgella Caldwell and a cherished brother to Howard Caldwell (Vanessa), Zella Wilson, Clyde Caldwell (Delois), Mary Harris (Jettonic), and Virgil Caldwell (Diane).
Dwayne graduated from Central High School, Class of 1979, where he ran track, sang in the choir, and built lifelong friendships. After graduation, he moved to Hawaii, where he lived from 1979 until 2017, making lasting connections and memories before returning home. A natural mentor and motivator, Dwayne shared his love of sports by coaching baseball, always encouraging others to work hard and have fun.
He was known for his love of dancing, watching football, meeting new people, and spending time with his family and friends. His warm laughter, hardworking spirit, and friendly nature left an unforgettable mark on all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to bring joy, strength, and comfort to those who carry him in their hearts.
