Eddie Mae Walls-Adams, born on November 24, 1942, in Ben Lomond, Arkansas, to Eddie Theodore and Willie Mae Walls, was called home on March 2, 2026, from her residence in Omaha, Nebraska.
Eddie Mae lived a life of faith and devotion to the Lord. After relocating to Omaha, she united with Morning Star Baptist Church, where she served faithfully and was a member of the choir for many years.
In September 1961, she married Sanifer Adams. Their union was blessed with two sons.
A generous spirit defined Eddie Mae. She was known for her giving nature—rarely would anyone leave her home without receiving something from her. A woman of impeccable taste, she enjoyed shopping and self-care. Above all else, Eddie Mae cherished quality relationships. She spent countless hours connecting with friends and loved ones over the phone.
Professionally, Eddie Mae dedicated over 30 years of service to Western Electric, later known as Lucent Technologies/Avaya, before retiring.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eddie Theodore and Willie Mae Walls, husband Sanifer Adams, and sister Mildred Zeola Walls-Williamson. She leaves behind her sons, Adrain Adams and Kenneth Ray Adams of Omaha; grandchildren De'Shaun Lynch and Tamara Thomas (Shaye); a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, beloved relatives and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
