Edward V. Hahn, March 23, 1947-April 4, 2023.
Edward, a U.S. Navy man, proudly served his country in the Navy Reserves 1964-66, 1968-1970, and active duty on the USS Independence, 1966-1968.
Edward waged a 16-year battle against colon and lung cancer with strength, dignity, and courage, while touching the lives of many along the way.
He loved serving his country, pheasant hunting, Husker football, home-cooked meals, a well-manicured lawn, and always giving more than he received.
Survived by his only child, Scottie.
Private eternal commitment and full military honors scheduled for Wednesday, April 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Omaha National Cemetery.
Any memorials in Edward's name to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
