Elijah Yarbrough

Elijah Yarbrough, age 63, passed away at Tabitha Journey House March 13, 2022. He was born July 30, 1958 to Anna Mae Thompkins in Omaha, Nebraska. Elijah was a loving and caring husband.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Thompkins.

Elijah is survived by his wife, Dortha Griffin-Yarbrough; step-sons, Al Lenear, Tim Lenear and Elbert Lenear; siblings, Maxine Thompkins, Vanessa (Rodney) Wead and Scotty Thompkins; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 22, 2022 at noon at Salem Baptist Church (3131 Lake St) with burial to follow at Omaha National Cemetery at 2:00PM.
