Elizabeth League

Elizabeth League, age 76, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska on May 4, 2025. She was born January 21, 1949 to Wilber and Gladys Schaffer in Omaha, NE.

Mom loved church and singing the good old country songs. She was famous for big hair(lots of aqua net) and her vibrant eye makeup. Anyone that knew my mom loved her. She was resilient and strong! She lived a long hard life. The past few months after losing a toe and falling breaking her shoulder and 5 ribs were the absolute hardest! Mom loved everyone and anyone her heart had so much love to give to so many people in her amazing life! Remembering my mom is hearing a song or a smell. 1949-2025! What a battle.. even with dementia she never showed weakness! She was the family hero!

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Bradford; son, Brian; mother, Gladys; and sister, Jennifer.

Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Dean and Michael and Brad League; daughter, Angela (James) Fischer; grandchildren, Breanna and Garrett, Zyanna , Zack and 2 great grandchildren Lizandro and Dulce; sisters, Cora, Bonnie, Cindy, Barb, and Alice; brothers, Gary, Jimmy, and Joel.
