Elizabeth Jeanne Patton

Elizabeth Jeanne Patton was born January 31, 1950, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to Stephen and Micki Zduriencik. She was a 1967 graduate of New Castle High School and a 1971 graduate of Slippery Rock State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education, majoring in Biology. In the fall of 1971, she became a 6th grade teacher at Darlington Elementary School in Darlington, Pennsylvania, for two years.

On December 22, 1972, she married Judd, the "love of her life," and began their family with the birth of Janell in Hillsdale, Michigan (1974), followed by Jared in Kirkcaldy, Scotland (1977), and Jonathan in Bellevue, Nebraska (1984) - the latter a home birth. Together they have fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Over the years her love of music - and finding a piano mentor, Bill Gaus - led to becoming a piano teacher herself. At her peak she was teaching 50 students per week. She also became a Biology teacher for the Omaha Homeschool Learning Center for many years, served as an Ambassador for the Orpheum Theater and Holland Center symphony, and served as a board member for Omaha Rapid Response, America's Disaster Relief Teams. She was a member of the United Church of God for 30 years.

Jeanne is survived by her husband Judd; daughter, Janell (David Williams - Fiancé); sons, Jared (Calicia) and Jonathan (Megan); sister, Deborah (Charles); brothers, Kevin (Denise) and Greg; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services for Jeanne will be held on Monday September 14, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Omaha, NE, L St Chapel.

Memorial donations will be directed by the family.
