Ernestine Haynes

Ernestine was born on November 16, 1937 to Elisha and Carrie (Stennis) McDaniel in Gholson, Mississippi. She was washed with the waters of baptism in her hometown of Gholson, Mississippi at an early age. Ernestine married James Russell Haynes in 1954 and from that union 3 children were born; William, James, and Debbie. Ernestine and family moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1956.

She was a loving mother who always put her kids first. Ernestine enjoyed puzzle books and spending time with family. Her was strong through her adulthood and she attended many churches in Omaha. Ernestine worked various jobs until she became disabled.

Ernestine was preceded in death by son James Haynes; parents Elisha and Carrie (Stennis) McDaniel; 1 granddaughter; 5 sisters and 3 brothers. She was the last survivor of the family.

She is survived by children William Haynes of Omaha and Debbie Fielding of Omaha; 6 grandchildren; a number of greatgrandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family
