Evelyn Collier

Evelyn Janet Collier was a dedicated and hard working individual who always put the needs of others ahead of her own.

Evelyn was born March 28, 1946 and received her wings on July 1, 2025 at 6:52 PM. She was born to parents, James Bailey and Mary Elizabeth Brooks in Judsonia, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Bailey; parents; brothers, Robert Bowman, James Brooks, John Bailey, Roger Bailey, and Danny Brooks; a grandson; and great granddaughter.

Evelyn's personality brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Evelyn's memory will remain in the hearts of her family, friends and all those who were honored to have the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves her sons, Carl Bailey and Jerry Collier; sister, Donna Brooks; and a host of grandkids, family, and friends who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

In the early years she worked retail jobs and one day decided she was tired of working these jobs and decided to try her hand at clerical work. She walked to votech school every day until she graduated and started to work for First Data Service Corp. With her employment at First Data she got to travel and see the world. She traveled to the Dominican Republic, England, Florida, Kentucky, and Maryland. She had over 40 years of service.
