Gail Weinhold

Gail Louise (Mickley) Weinhold, 86, joined her husband Richard Samuel Weinhold in their eternal home on December 19, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Gail was born in Ellsworth, Kansas on May 21, 1937. Graduated from Wilson High School, Wilson KS, in 1955. She married her high school sweet heart on January 27, 1957

Gail was a farm wife and bookkeeper at The Hays Daily News, Hays, Kansas. Before retiring she was the proud owner of Wilson Variety Store, Wilson, Kansas. She lived in Salina, KS for many years belonging to and volunteering with numerous organizations, before moving to Omaha, NE in 2020 to be closer to family.

Gail is preceded in death by her husband Richard and her parents Jonathan Glenn Mickley and Helen Ann (Vlcek) Mickley.

She is survived by her children; Kimberly Ann (Weinhold) Schrader, Angela Louise Weinhold of Omaha, NE and Richard Samuel Weinhold Jr. of McAlester, OK. Grandchildren; Jennifer Ann Row (Calvin) of Omaha, NE, C.J. Hashenberger, Wichita, KS, Brittni Nicole Heckman (Rocky) of Gretna, NE, Breanna Hailey Field of Manchester, NH, and six great-grandchildren

The family is having private services with Good Shepherd Funeral Home, Omaha, NE.

Burial will be at Wilson City Cemetery, Wilson KS during summer 2024 when family can gather.
