Gary Foote born February 9th 1956 to the late Donna Mae Foote and Alfred Kenneth Foote.
Gary graduated from Omaha North High school in 1974. He married Melanie in 1976. Over the years you could find him knee deep in trees and shrubs or trying to wrestle a fish for someone, working at Havers Florist & Nursery. Gary knew just about everything one could possibly know about trees/shrubs/flowers & anything to do with gardening & planting. After the closure of Haver's, you could find Gary in the garden center at Menards. Still helping people keep their yards in top tier condition. If you couldn't find him working, the next place you could expect to find him was out and about with his cousin Keith fishing at 4am on the river or one of their favorite lakes. Fishing was definitely a favorite pass time of his. He enjoyed being in the wilderness. Whether it was fishing or taking the grandkids to see the Elks at the Wildlife Safari. Most days you could bet you'd find him somewhere in the outdoors or possibly at a car show with one of his two, 1965 Mustangs over the years. If he needed some time to himself you might just catch him playing some of his favorite tunes on one of his guitars.
In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Ann Foote; grandchild, Mickaël Hernandez-Foote; and father-in-law, Herman Haver.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie Foote; children, Trevor (Jamie) Foote, Zachary Foote, and Amber Foote; grandchildren, Zoey Foote, Ethan Foote, Jacoby Foote, Jayce'on Foote, Jadon Foote, and Javi Hernandez-Foote; mother-in-law, Marjory Haver; brother-in-law, Thomas Haver; sister-in-law, Jane Haver; Nieces, Tamara Haver Melissa ( Adi Këllezi) Haver; great nephews, Alexander Haver and Cruz Këllezi; great niece, Coco Këllezi; cousins, Keith & Cathy Weber, Diane Thomsen & Diane Milne, Randy Milne, Julie Starra & many, many more cousins, aunts and uncles.
Gary will be forever loved and missed.
