George is preceded in death by father George Grafton Jr.; mother Thelma Mayfield-Grafton; and sister Linda Grafton.

He is survived by children Anthony Grafton, Traci Grafton, Audrey Grafton, Wil Grafton, and Wes Grafton; sister Ann Grafton-Willis; niece Megan Nichols-Timm; nephew David "Eric" Nichols; niece Chantell Wills; grandchildren adn great nieces and nephews.
