Georgia Ryan

February 10, 1942 — March 30, 2024

Georgia Was born on February 10 th , 1942, in Omaha Nebraska, the daughter of Robert
and Marjorie Ryan. She was raised in San Diego, Arizona, and Omaha. She attended
Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School, Mohave County Union Jr. High and
Graduated from Technical High School and went on to Nettleton Business College
where she earned a degree as a keypunch operator. She was an excellent seamstress
and sewed drapes alongside her aunt and cousins. This team of ladies even sewed
drapes for the Nebraska State Capitol. Georgia and her brother Bill loved to dance and
took home many awards in High School.

She was a great cook and even better baker, she especially loved baking with her
children and grandchildren, passing on many family recipes over the years. Georgia
was incredibly creative and artistic; she loved to paint and could turn anything into an art
project.

Every animal was like a pet to Georgia, from birds to big elk and mountain lions.
She had many pets over the years, including her favorite dog Ricky and pet snake. Deer
and Elk would knock at her door for breakfast, knowing she had a bowl of corn ready for
them every morning. She loved all animals and was fearless around wildlife. She would
pet mountain lions, move deer and elk that blocked her path to the car, and befriend
snakes and other critters.

What Georgia loved most in life was her family. She was the most wonderful kind and
giving woman you would ever meet. She may have been small in stature, but her spirit
was mighty. Her greatest gift to the world is the love she gave.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents Robert Ryan and Marjorie Hedrick. Her
siblings Bob, Bill and Michael Ryan. Her son Richard Ludwig Miedl and grandson
Nathan Robert McCoid.

Georgia is survived by her former husband Eugene F. Miedl Sr. Sisters Patsy Voigt,
Patricia Whitington, Sister-in-law Jean Ryan. Children Eugene F. Miedl Jr, George P.
Miedl (Aleta), Karl M. Miedl, Susan A. Meyer (Thomas), 12 grandchildren and 20 great
grandchildren.
