Gwendolyn Dee McQuisten

Gwen McQuisten, age 70, passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2026, in Bennington, Nebraska.

Gwen is survived by her loving husband, Dave McQuisten; previous husband, Scott Merrill; daughters, Eboni (Ryan) Schmidt and Ambri (Ted) Vogel; step daughter, Shannon (John) Graham; grandchildren, Jackson Vogel, Adeline Vogel and Aedan Bowker; siblings, Lynndi Falotico, Garon (Sherri) Stewart and Jodi Neverve and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cameron and Faylene Stewart; in-laws, Wendell and Carolyn Merrill; brothers-in-law, Dirk Neverve and Russ Falotico.

There will be a Memorial Service on November 1, 2026 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 3809 N 90th Street, Omaha NE 68134. Memorial Service at 2 pm with a reception following in the Good Shepherd Reception Hall. Please direct memorials to the St. Jude Research Hospital.

There will be a service in Ogalalla, NE on November 14th. More details to come.
