With heavy hearts but joyful memories, we celebrate the life of Harold James Crew, who passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 83. Harold, a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, was born on August 28, 1942, in Omaha, Nebraska, where he spent his life making connections and spreading kindness.
Harold dedicated the last part of his career as a manager in the laundry and linen department, where his camaraderie left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him. Known for his warm smile and love for a good time, he truly embodied the spirit of generosity. His kindness was felt by all who knew him, and he never missed an opportunity to brighten someone's day.
He is survived by his beloved sons, Christopher and Curtis Crew; grandchildren Caleb Crew, Rachyl Whitney, Corbin Jones, and Kelsey Jones; and his great granddaughter, Natalee. Harold is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Sandy Patterson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will carry his spirit in their hearts.
Harold is preceded in death by his father and mother, Sylvia Pietrantoni, his sister Angie Silva, and brother-in-law Grady Patterson.
