Hayden Jakob Hill was found at rest Saturday, April 11, 2026 in Ralston, Nebraska at the age of 24. He was born March 15th, 2002 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Our worlds will never be as bright, as joyful, as kind, and as beautiful without his physical presence. He embodied goodness and love, with a side of ridiculous humor. He was a kind and caring human, showed up for others, and always looked to leave people better than when he found them. He most definitely thought more about you than you likely ever imagined.
Hayden allowed us the ability to feel and experience unconditional love. His heightened awareness and keen sensitivities educated us to the harms that cracked every foundation in our communities. Whether it be cruelty towards animals or injustices to our neighbors, he always looked to see others and extended the fullest extent of empathy that they deserved. On his hardest days, he offered his remaining strength to you from his cup.
Hayden's greatest joys were a fantastic day of sunshine, caring for animals through his work and personal connections, listening to music, getting in a good hair treatment, and pushing his limits on being late wherever he went. (Yes, he was due on March 6th, 2002). He had incredible work ethic, working before the age of 14 and always pouring himself into his work expectations. And he loved deeply. He found great joy in loving and seeing others.
Hayden's spirit will undoubtedly continue to surround us in all the years to come. Our hope is that you see him in the sunsets, and where all the flowers bloom. That you hear him in the double beeping of a car alarm or someone's boisterous laugh. That a pleasing essential oil or amazing cologne or candle, or a fresh bold cup of coffee reminds you of him. And when someone gives you the greatest hug you could ever receive in your life, that you know he was there with you.
We are filled with gratitude for all of the individuals that Hayden got to share his days with. You all fed his spirit and mind, provided compassion and strength, and helped to fill in the gaps from when he was outside of our family.
Hayden is preceded in death and welcomed into the arms of heaven by his Grandfather and Partner, Jack (John) Hill, and Uncle Jeff Helmer. His beloved childhood cat, Oreo would have been close behind in line.
Hayden is survived by his parents, John and Dawnna Hill; sister Kieran Hill, Grandmother, Carol Hill (Jack †), Grandparents, Randall and Cindy Lambert; aunt, Deb (Jeff †) Helmer; uncle, Randy (JR) Lambert; cousins, and many other family and friends.
May you be blessed to feel even one day in your life, how he felt the world.
Embracing the ache, and loving you forever. Keep singing, Hayden.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." - Deuteronomy 31:6.
