James Edwards

James Edwards passed away April 10, 2024 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 79 years. He was born September 25, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

James is preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Edwards; parents Levi and Mercy Edwards; brothers Jack Edwards, George Edwards, and infant brother LV; sisters Ida Mae Pettigrew and Ruby Edwards; and daughter Kisha Edwards.

He is survived by his sons Derick Bibins and Brian (LySheryl) Edwards; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Watkins and Mary Traynham; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.

The family will be holding a private  memorial service to celebrate his memory. Place and time to be announced.
