Jim Etter

James Lou Etter "Jim" passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 25, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Barb; children, Robin Etter, Scott (Lindsay) Etter, Katie (Scot) Jorgensen, Rob (Amber) Stoner; grandchildren, Jayden, KayLynn, Maya, Macy, Samantha, Elliot, Matilda, Scarlett, Nash; great granddaughter, Emersyn and a host of other loving family and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James and Madonna Etter and daughter, Jill Stoner.

Services will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home - L Street Chapel. There will be a visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 am with Celebration of Life at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at Good Shepherd Funeral Home in the reception hall. Services will be livestreamed below.
