James Gray

James Howard Gray, 54, of Omaha, NE, began his eternal ride on Sunday, September 15, 2024. He was born August 25, 1970, in Lincoln, NE to Sterling and Elizabeth Gray (Sabalka). He attended Lincoln Northeast High School, Denver Business College, and Metro Community College. On June 22, 1991, Jim married his Highschool sweetheart Susan Lott. They celebrated their 33-year anniversary this year. This union was blessed with one son, Andrew James Gray. Jim worked at Lozier Corporation for 26 years before moving to Fiserv in 2023 where he was able to use his Tool & Dye education and skills.

Jim loved riding his Harley, elk hunting, camping in the mountains with his dad, and most of all, spending time doing many fun things with Andy and Susan. They especially liked to cook together, watch movies, listen to music, and play video games.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan Gray, children; Andrew James Gray, Mother Elizabeth Gray; Mother-in-law Dorothy Lott, siblings; Karen (Carl) Welch, Mike Gray, Sisters-in-law; Sheila (Travis) Harms, Trisha Lott; Niece Jadea Welch; nephews Ty Novotny, Matthew Welch.

He was proceeded in death by father, Sterling “Bud” Gray, Jr., father-in-law, Gary Lott and grandparents, Sterling and Katherine Gray, Leslie and Rosemary Sabalka.
